OK... it's not nearly as pretty as your work, but I did my own metal work this week! (I miss not having access to a brake and had to use a couple of metal rulers and vice grips... not as nice) What is it you ask? It's a new removeable GPS mount that attaches to my glove box! I tapped a couple of holes on the inside of my glove box door, so I can screw it on there for longer road trips where I might want the GPS. An i.Trip GPS mount from Amazon and I'm set!
