Local guy selling a hatch, claims it'll fit 06-13 my 05 hatch has a bit too much rust and I plan to wrap white so colour matching isn't important. But would it fit?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Your 05 is a gen 1 body while the hatch in question is a gen 2 body style. I'm not saying it won't but I wouldn't bet on it.
I thought the gen 1 body was 02-06 which is why this guys add confused me, thanks MRNTD! Gonna keep looking for body parts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Did that, wont fit. The guy definitely has a Gen2. Told him he may want to adjust his add to avoid confusion. The search continues.
Not today but yesterday and a little bit of Monday... Covered a lot of ground in the Porker heading home from the Dragon. Yesterday we left Clarksville TN. at 5:00 AM and was back in Denver at 10:00 PM. It was great seeing everyone, when we were around Fontana! There's a lot of people I missed or only saw heading the other direction, but there's always next year if we missed each other... Lee, you were looking good on the Dragon when I saw you headed out. I agree... Nice work Chaz.... I built a rig that attached to my Bridgeport mill to spin the rims when I refurbished mine... It got rid of a ton of hand labor...
Cheers guys, that's a great idea Metalman! To be fair I don't have anything like that, I did it on top of an outdoor freezer haha! Was planning to do another tonight but I've had to pick up some Stuttgart wheels for the other halfs corsa... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well, today was a busy one. Added a couple more things. These... The blue one... Couple of these grey ones... Bad picture of the adjustable rear control arms. This shows the new rear brakes, spring, swaybar, stainless lines, and end links. Front brakes were installed with NM stainless brake lines. I was worried for a moment that the wheels wouldn't fit over these rotors. Things are huge! Brakes with wheels installed... Topped it all off with a strut brace by NM. Only downside of this work is I lost all the coding I had done at the Dragon. Software has to be updated for the JCW brakes and once the program starts to run it updates everything. Small price to pay for these brakes though. The springs closed the wheel well gap nicely too. Before... After... All this work was done by my friend Chris at G3 Automotive. Can't recommend him highly enough for anyone in the Raleigh, NC area. This is one of his toys. If you were at the Dragon you probably saw him on Vendors Alley.
Got to show the boss that the 86 aint got **** on the MINI on the way in today Then parked so she could be viewed by said boss all day
