Meh, I have a better custom setup now. :ihih::lol::devil: Focal ES 165K2 (Fronts) Infinity Kappa 6x9 Rears JL 10w7 sub JL HD 900W / 5 5-Channel Class D System Amplifier, 100 W x 4 + 500 W x 1
Now you know why my license plate says WHAAAT. :cornut: :lol: I have had the same plate since the 80's. Yes I can hear, it is a well built system with lots of sound deadening included. I built it for "sound quality" and not to be heard Booming from a block away. I like clear precise sound not the Boom & Tisk crap. I did a IASCA Competition car in the early 90's for Booming with Sound Quality. It was all MB Quart speakers, with (4) HiPhonics amps and active 64 band EQ and Active Crossovers which included (2) 12 JL Audio subs in a band pass enclose. Won 1st place at a lot of events and after a few years it became boring. That was freaking loud as hell but still sounded good through the sound range and below.
^^^The whales thank you for the peace and quiet.... And because you retired, they are starting to return to the eastern shore...
Lines, probably new cam, tune, wide body, aim dash, seats harnesses and steering wheel...But the hard part is done, rest is relatively easy; Barry finished the dry sump quicker than I expected. I didn't think I was going to be able to get on the track this year but it's looking more likely I will now.
A friend of mine & member of MA dropped his awesome MINI to me today for a weekend full detail. I will take pictures when it done so you will have to wait.
Dropped my R53 off at a buddy's house who happens to be a member of MA and is obsessive compulsive when it comes to detailing... Can't wait to see it on Tuesday when I get back from visiting my Mom & Dad in CT...
To day is my wife birthday. She is the best wife you could ask for. We drove a 2014 convertible S, its a Highgate addition. She liked it but kept saying she did not need it and don't buy it. She does so much for our family and gets mad if you spend money on her because she feels it should be used for others. So this was out side in the drive when she went out for walk. I am truly glad she did not kill me.
That's very cool! I've made similar purchases for my wife, daughter and son. It always seemed to be ok after spending that money. Nice job!
What a great gift! Nice going, hubs. On my way to the kids' taekwondo practice today, I creamed a bird who thought it was a good idea to fly directly in my path. My roadkill cherry on the MINI has officially been popped.
Pat is flying back after a 2 week visit to the grandkids in Virginia, I filled the tank and washed her Countryman so she could enjoy a clean MINI versus a Ford Explorer full of grandkids. She is stuck in Atlanta, hopefully she will get to fly soon. It was a long day when she started out from Richmond, I really doubt she will notice the clean MINI, but she will be home. MCS02, now that is a stellar present, nice bow. I am sure she will enjoy. Don
