McLaren in Continental series now too. Automatic Racing will be managing operations for IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge team VOLT Racing, who will be the first North American team to compete in the McLaren 570S GT4. Alan Brynjolfsson and Chris Hall will co-drive the McLaren in the GS class for the full 2017 season.
Interesting. McLaren has both GT 3 and GT 4 spec cars and they chose to go Continental with the GT 4 instead of the upper series.
Weather Tech. The GT Daytona class run GT 3 cars. It's where the new NSX with MSR is running next year.

I see. Yes the NSX is racing in both series next year. Different teams running them so it will be interesting to see which team has more success.
Mike Shank's NSX's look great. But WOW that Patron car looks like catfish from space. Bet it's fast, something that ugly has to be.
If the bat mobile and a race car had offspring, it might look like this. I do like it though. I suspect all of the wings and fins and gills are actually functional.
These new P cars look a million times better than those god awful looking Riley DP cars. The Riley's won the most over those years but they were something only a mother could love.
Did anyone else notice where the fueling port is on the Mazda? To me it looked like it can only be accessed with the drivers door open. So if they aren't changing drivers the guy has to sit there with the door open & hope the fueler doesn't screw up & douse him with high octane fuel.
