GTI vs Mustang, I saw it yesterday.... Yesterday I was minding my own business enjoying life when I came up on this young guy & his Mustang. Just as I get next to him he guns it giving it the full bag of oats. Long story short I blew his doors off.
This type of Mustang has all hoove drive, much traction. They have been known to pollute with road apples.
Dave you are a great problem solver. This would be harder to tunnel under and Mexico would even like it if we shared the lock fees, but only 25%. It would create a number of new port cities for after California goes independent as the Peoples Republic of California. Followed by the new country of the Western Federation of Washington and Oregon (WFWO).
There is already a movement to break Oregon and Washington from the rest of the U.S. They want to call it the Republic of Cascadia
There was a book written back in the good old hippie days called I believe "Ecopedia". Oregon,Washington and I think northern California left the U.S. to form their own country. Governor Moonbeam would now be their new president.
Saw this today in my email today.... A couple of things caught my eye... "THE BIGGEST" in describing the MINI... (Biggest Ever) and well equipt MINI ever made "features the latest MINI TwinPower Turbo engines, incredibly precise performance..... What exactly is "incredibly precise performance???
I drive cars for a local dealership group from their lot to auction, so I get in a LOT of different cars, many of which have a LOT of miles on them, but even so you can still get an appreciation for the difference in the ways various mfrs have tuned the driving and handling characteristics of their cars (not all of the cars we drive are high mile worn out pos) The MINI steering and handling feel is significantly more precise than pretty much anything else I drive...and you can poopoo the electric steering assist and so on all you want, but spend some time behind the wheel and you'll realize just because it's different than what you've become used to doesn't make it bad - only different. After spending the day behind the wheels of 10 or more cars, when I get in my MINI at the end of the day - the difference in feel is immediate and easy to see. Walk a mile in their shoes, lads.....or drive 30 miles in their cars - and see.
It's not a true JCW, is it? Came across this today on the other site. The body has an S badge, and the engine has a JCW tuning kit #. So, it's not a true JCW correct? He's passing it off and selling it as if it is. My knowledge of the 1st Gen JCW is limited. "I'm absolutely not trying to stick anyone here, but this is an excellent Factory JCW build that deserves a decent price, and already in fair price territory. I invested expensively in the exterior, pro-active preventative maintenance (supercharger oil reservoirs and gaskets, and belt, for example), and despite those I'm asking half of what I paid for it, have only added < 4,000 miles a year. It has a strong price because it deserves a strong price.
