It's not a grudge. He went off the wall over a nothing and verbally assailed me about something I had no control over. He's the nothing, IMHO. Like you said, life's too short to carry on over something that happened a long time ago and besides, I have better things to do.
I know these guys in the grudge match. Both are good guys who I consider friends. They should shake hands & get along. I'll leave this here in hopes it will help.
We created an event for this in our local club... wasn't much interest. Most people didn't realize it existed until we'd posted it. With all the drama I'm hearing about in the Columbus region, it's disappointing. Large group of great owners in the region who will likely never find out about the much larger regional or national events. Back on topic, I understand all Mini/MINI's are welcome, but was this event originally created for the Mini's to get together and the MINI's were the after thought?
Truly, there is NO DRAMA. Just because someone there has an issue with me [or vice versa] is a LAME excuse to NOT attend MINI MEET EAST. If I decide to attend, I just will not go out of my way to confront him or it could get ugly. MINI MEET EAST was first created to put the Classic Minis on a national stage, east of the Mississippi River. The Dayton club was the first to do it, under the name, Ohio Mini Owners, and it has expanded ever since. When the "New" MINI came out, MINI MEET EAST welcomed the "new kid on the block" and now includes it as part of the event. FYI, there is also a MINI MEET WEST for Classics and "New" MINIS west of the Mississippi River, and every 4 years or so, both unite somewhere in the middle of the USA for a huge show. It WILL be a shame if you and your cronies do not attend MME in July!
