So I have made my own JCW Front Brake Kit aka the Poor Mans JCW Front (by doing the R53 to R56 conversion).

So I decided to redo the Rear Calipers:

Took them apart and rebuilt them
Paint the Carriers & Calipers (in VHT Real Red)
Installed the BMW Brass Guides (w/ copper grease)
    JCW Sticker (then Clear coated)

I already have Drilled & Slotted Rear Rotors, and Goodridge SS Lines on the car.

I will post more photos this week once they are installed.

Looks great I have read that using a paint sealer will help keep them clean. I will be trying it with my next detailing.

Use a epoxy to resist the heat and putting a sealer/clearcoat is not necessary, most epoxies are glossy.

Yes I used the clear to protect the sticker, I am sure it acts as a sealer.

Very nice. Having painted mine, I know it is not as easy to get a smooth look as it may sound.

    Verdict: Pass

I will post the photos from Killboy.com as soon as they post them up.

I drove the car one direction (up) the TotD and the Gf drove it back (down), although a lot slower. It was an absolutely amazing day for the drive, very little traffic, and very nice 59 to 65 degrees F
