Rotiform Cast wheels: 17x8 et30 fitment & clearance pictures

I've had a bunch of people ask if I thought the new Rotiform wheels would be a good fit on our cars and whether they poked too much or not.

What better way to test the fitments than to toss them on the car and see how it looks.

My car has been converted to 5x112 so you'll see that I'm running the 5 lug versions, but they offer a MINI friendly 4x100 spec wheel in the exact same specs which will fit exactly the same as these.

Specs:
17x8 et30
205/40/17
Lowered 6+ inches
Standard factory camber adjustments
No spacers
No arch trimming

Overall the fitment looks like they almost designed the specs specifically for the MINI platform. Even at my extremely lowered height they tuck under the arches quite well and achieve the flush fitment many are after without any fitment issues.

Great looking wheel with a cool machined finish throughout (although they offer a broad range of finishing options)

Pictured are both the Rotiform BLQ and the Rotiform NUE

Lowered MINI's look better than the lowered VW's - the suspension doesn't look like it is broken. But even so, those wheels will rub if the car is driven hard with proper tires. . Looks good though.

A little rubbing never hurt anyone. We have plastic fenders...

Yup, there are now numerous minis running the Rotiform wheels at 17x8 et30.

With a 205/40/17 tire stretched on, they fit great. You'll want the stretch for the clearance. Running a 215 or a higher profile tire would result in clearance issues when lowered. Look to the Falken 512's or atleast the 912's for the best stretch.

Wow, those rims look fantastic Rally! I've dealt with the guys at Rotiform for the wheels on our Audi's & they're first rate. Great customer service.

coool! but I need spacers for these wheels with longer studs right? like 15mm spacer?

I just wanna make things clear before I will set an order and wanna ask advices from you guys cuz I'm not technically inclined. Although I start studying it bit by bit.

I'm dying to have this on my MINI. Thanks a lot for the help. Hope this will go through.

Why would you need spacers with longer studs?

The wheel goes over the studs and then you put on the nuts. Unless you are using a closed end nut and it is not deep enough to take up all the space between the top of the stud and seat in the wheel. In that case pick up open ended nuts and there is not problem.

No you don't need spacers and you don't need longer studs. Just bolt the wheels onto your car like normal. I don't have any spacers or anything installed on mine.....just the wheels and some lug bolts.
