Which set do you guys like? I'm going sport/luxury look. Most people black everything out and make it look like a race car. I want something different.

Black or polished? And I'm still not sure on 18s...so indecisive.

17's in Silver, not polished Chrome.

Black wheels are a fad that is staring to end. (Thank God)

I've had black wheels on 2 cars. In the late 90's before it was "cool" thank you very much. Depends on the car.

I'm with Dave on the 17's in silver, 18's are just too big on a MINI in my opinion. Nice looking wheels! Look kinda heavy, but cool

They're actually pretty light for 18s. 17s are probably smarter...but who said I'm smart

My choice would be 17's and not in black but that's the beauty of MINI modding everyone has their own style/taste.

Dave may be right about the fad thing but I like the black ones. But that offset is killer!:D

Given those specific choices, I'd go with black (and 17"). But given a bit more freedom to choose I'd probably go with something less black like an anthracite or a gunmetal.

I've never been a big fan of black wheels, but I could go either way with that wheel style on your MINI.

As for size, 18s are going to ride like crap, and won't give you any better handling, IMO. They will also weigh a little more than 17s. The 18s would look a little too "ricer" for my tastes, too.

This will come as a shock to those that know my distaste for all things chrome on cars, but I would go with the polished ones. I think black wheels on black cars is hard to pull off, especially when you have chrome accents on the car.

Yeah, I've changed my mind since I posted in favor of the black. Very black glossy wheels on that car would be too much for me. It might help if the black wheels had a polished rim...maybe.

If there are no other options available, I change my vote to polished (but still 17").

I had 18"s and I like the ride of the 17" better. So I say black 17".

No sir, there was a couple in there :cornut: Life would be boring if we were all the same. I had black wheels before it was cool to have them.
I had a 68' C10 that my dad and I were fixing/restoring and the Nascar Truck series had just come out. I loved the black wheels on the trucks, so I did the wheels all black like Nascar cars and trucks. Then I did black wheels on my 89 Vandura panel van with chrome wheel rings and center caps. On some cars black wheels just look good. Just threw a set on my MINI as well
