Nathan once told me the percentages of members vs active posters vs lurking etc.. It is eye opening but pretty well true on other forums as well..
Ha Ha! Thanks for not making me feel like I'm the only one, I guess lurking is ok too as long as people are still here.
Yup, just for grins go to the menu bar at the top, click on Quick Links and then Who's Online, and check the numbers at the top of the list. You'll see we always have a lot of casual viewers; guests = visitors who aren't members + members who aren't currently signed in. We also usually have 50 or more members logged in at any hour...less when it's late at night in the US. The apparent lack of activity is because most of us do a lot more reading and other lurking than posting. So, it's not so much that no one's here, it's that few feel like replying or posting their own content. The other big factor slowing things down a bit more than usual right now is this is MINIs on the Dragon week.
MINIs. MINIs everywhere!! And a few minis too. Wifi is slow and that's the only service we have down here.
It's Dragon week so all the MINI forums sloooooow. Sorry we will all be back next week and telling stories and sharing pictures of things that happened. Well maybe we won't tell you everything.:ihih::devil: FYI~ Wifi is so slow here it makes AOL in the 90's look fast.
Me too... ...vicariously participating in MOTD from afar, thanks to the occasional bread crumbs in the Adventure thread. :drool
:cornut: Jason 'The Mouth' is usually around. Occasional disappearence when the PTSD clouds close in but always come back laughing. Jason
The OP has 22 posts so far, almost everyone who answered has post counts in the thousands. If you want participation, start some threads, reply to some threads, put up some pics - IOW, do something beside complain that there's no participation. Just my 2c A lot of the main participants here are at the Dragon this weekend, too......
