Can someone eyeball (or even better, photograph) their windshield wiper mounts for me? I'm trying to re-fit the wiper arms and can't figure out how they go on correctly, and fear I may have mis-installed the motor assembly.

Do the round, knurled attachment points face STRAIGHT UP, or do they FACE FORWARD? Mine are currently facing straight up, and I can't get the wiper arms on in such a way that they lay flat against the screen. The book isn't helping and I have no other point of reference, sorry...

    Thanks!

There are two spacers, one above and one below the cowl sheet metal, you turn them such that the stubs point forward at about a 45* angle.

    #9 in this pic....

I can't get a pic of the underside but the top should look like this, so the one under the cowl should be the opposite.

Ah, that's it... my spacers are flipped. Mine are set to hold the mounting points straight up and not at an angle. Thanks!
