    Nice.

    Question:

How do you drive it up on ramps both forward and back at the same time?

    You caught that, eh? :D

He just jacked it up in the rear then we removed the rear ones and drove down off the front ones...

He probably didn't need the jack. He could have just picked it up.

I was going to make an Aggie joke, but too many people here wouldn't know what that is.

Yeah, those are real MINIs, not bloated cows like an R53. :frown2:

    All things are relative, eh?

Yup and it's a mini, not a MINI.

I would trade my Big a$$ R53 for a proper / perfect classic mini.

I dunno, as much fun as the little guys are, they still don't hold a candle to the power, braking and handling of any new MINI, let alone comfort, quiet, convenience and accessories like A/C, powerful steering, cruise control etc.

    Different car, different driving experience.

Having put a lot of miles on in classics, if I'm gonna do a long distance road trip I'll take any new MINI over the classic.

The obvious solution to this dilemma is to have one of each.

I have room in my garage to park a classic mini next to my R56 MINI. All I lack is the money. :mad2:

I pick it up tomorrow, weather permitting. More pics when I get it home.....

Caseydog, as you can see by my sig, I agree with you! :D

Hey, Jags may be on the rise, like Ferraris and air cooled Porsches were a couple years ago.

RM/Sothby's has a D-Type at Monterrey that is estimated at 20-25 million. :eek6:

I have photographed several C-Type and D-Types, and I think one of the D-Types, all original, went for a million-and-a-half.

If that D-Type goes for 20-plus million, the tide should rise for all classic Jags.

E-Types have definitely been getting stronger in the last couple of years, D types are over the moon.....
