Has any one tried the Door Handle Cover kits from WMW ? I have a Chili Red R55 and want to black out all the chrome . I am just not sure how they will look and holdup in the heat , I live in San Diego and its constantly warm there

Are you talking about the adhesive kind that just stick over the current handle, or the whole unit replacement that requires removing lots of door stuff?

    Mine has the adhesive kind.
It's held up through this summer, and looks like the owner had it own for a few years before... Though mine are getting gross and I'll probably need new ones. Anyway, they seem to last.

Try some plasti-dip. Works very well and easily repaired/removed.

Plasti-dip on the door handles is kind of iffy in that you are constantly abusing the finish :D.
I had the ones from WMW on my previous MINI, an '11 R56S. They were at least a couple of years old and were still on the car and looked fine when I sold it last month.
I'm waiting patiently for Way to get the handle covers in stock for my F56S.
