Having just bought my R55 , and not really knowing much about the lineup of models I am curious on what parts are interchangeable with other models , besides the obvious . I know the difference between 1st and 2nd and 3rd generation . But wonder about engine parts , suspension parts of R-56,57,58,59
what parts if any are interchangeable ? Maybe somebody could point me to a link or a thread that has that info .

Welcome to M/A! Sorry I cannot help you, as all I own are Gen 1 MINIs, but, there are lots of Clubman owners in here who can give you the answers you seek.

    Welcome!

What year Clubman do you have? They changed the engines in 2011, but other parts are interchangeable with other models.

Post a photo, we like photos.

Pretty much from the front seat forward are identical, hoods, fenders, motors, dashes etc, back seats back including suspension are different, not much diff in suspension but it has different weight springs etc, you could probably use say r56 shocks and not notice any diff but springs may offer a diff height.

Exhaust and rear body obviously different. Brakes are the same as well as wheels.

Wife owned a R56 so I did alot of checking , now she has a R57.
