Ok folks. I've read up on all of the hot side tubes, Forge, Alta, M7, NM,etc. etc. Found a couple muffler deletes as well. My question is, whats the better option? I know several have a strong dislike for Alta but so far that's the one I'm leaning towards. That and the Forge. I can't find where there is a difference. Alta gives you dimensions but Forge does not. I can sort of see but they don't mention, is that the Forge is a little slimmer looking, before the bend going into the intercooler where as the Alta and M7 seem to be a slightly larger diameter. I don't know, but I have an idea. When Eric (Mr Helix) gets back from SEMA & recuperates a bit give him a call & see what he recommends. He knows these cars inside out. Don't spend your money on the wrong part you won't be happy. Helix Motorsports: BMW and MINI Cooper Performance Parts & Philadelphia BMW and MINI Cooper Repair.
From the research I've done, the hot side turbo muffler delete offers no gains or advantages, it just makes things a little noisier.
