Seeing as I can use any parts from Mini can a S intake be modified to use the R50 throttle body without the super charger? would there be an advantage?

    It certainly wouldn't be a direct bolt-on, but where there's a will, there's a way...

If you can use any part from Mini how about the Supercharger? They will never notice.:D

You can, and Jan actually has the part you would need to adapt the throttle body to bolt onto the intake manifold with his upcoming turbo kits... Tuning would be required though, its a pretty big change from the stock Justa plastic manifold configuration. ;)

I'm pretty sure the boys in the machine shop can knock up an adapter but if tuning is required then that could be an issue.
