First problem. My car makes a clunk when you let off the gas and then accelerate. You have to be above 3 grand. It sounds and feels like a bad motor mount but all my mounts are new and it does not do it all the time. I can not find anything loss. Perhaps a axel?
The other sound is a slight crunching coming from the rear when the brakes are applied. Agin not all the time and I can not find anything loss.
last odd sound is the motor. It only does this when it is hot and I have been in slow traffic. When I accelerate and push in the clutch to change gears the motor has a odd sound. Its a lot like if you drive a car with a engine driven fan when the fan clutch locks to give it more cooling. The sound increases and decreases with RPM's. The higher the RPM the louder the sound. I have looked every and can not find the engine driven fan......Ok I did not look for a fan attached to the motor:biggrin5:

Any ideas? These new hearing aids are great! I hear all sorts of stuff I have not heard before!

That's easy to fix, turn up your radio.

That could be the problem -- you are hearing things that were there, but you couldn't hear before..

Dang, it sounds like an old pick up then eh?

If I focus on all the little sounds my car makes I go nuts. Mine makes a symphony of interior noises :rolleyes5:.

They're not the most buttoned up, quiet vehicles now are they?

I agree with the radio volume fix. Put some drum n bass on...

Thanks at least someone is helpful. I have Powerflex bushings they are 2 or 3 years old, but I will have a look you never know.

Perhaps the Powerflex bushings need more lubrication, poly tends to squeak and crunch when it starts to dry out.

True. When I do the clutch I will lube them up, but this is a hard hit. I have been so busy I have not been able to even look at my car.
