A Question of Red

Hi gang. I'm currently scheming over my first MINI. I'm hoping to put forth my proposal for a 2013 MCS in the next few weeks. While messing around with the configurator an idea popped into my head. I was playing around with a Chili Red MCS and added the JCW Interior package hoping to tie the red exterior to the red stitching/accents.

My question is this: are the 2 reds the same or at least close enough that it won't come off as "close but no cigar"? The interior colors look much brighter in the builder but I have little faith in the color accuracy of my monitor, etc.

I will now hang up and listed to you response.

Thanks,
-John

Thanks Mr Jim.

I've been playing some more. This time I pulled up a JCW and the configurator says the JCW red roof is in fact Chili Red. The JCW interior should match the JCW roof...right!?

I was afraid the roof red was a completely different color.

I'm feeling better about this but not quite convinced yet.

Thanks again,
-John

MM...love what you've done with Calvin! Red has always caught my eye and was already on my short list. Finding the JCW interior may have locked it in the top position!

Gee...this place is pretty friendly.

Thanks again everyone!

Chili Red with a Black top is the cat's a$$..... Or the new JCW Black with a Red top... Or, the Classic White with a Red top. All are awesome combos!

Best'a luck on your color choice journey.

One thing about MINIs... They have such great colors to choose from.
