I'm wanting to install an aftermarket aluminum spoiler. I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to have to mount it to the roof rather than the hatch. However, that poses a problem when the hatch is open the stock MCS spoiler would hit it causing the hatch to not open completely. My question is, does anyone know where I could find the rear trim piece ( which I have no clue what its called), that would delete the MCS spoiler? Preferably not from the dealer as I don't want to pay that much for it. Or any other suggestions are welcome.

    Base R56 spoiler

You might need some additional attaching pieces

I have looked at add on spoilers. But after some resent air flow studies a wing, like the the JCW one, would be more beneficial. It would improve down force and drag.

Some of the wings, widgets & things have been tested & show real improvements. Others are just a way for the maker to bring in some ca$h with no thought as to if the wing or widget even works. Do your research & spend your mod bucks wisely.

Hey that one looks good. hopefully they go the right Model designation on there. The last I checked the R53 looked like that one and the R56 looked really goofy with a straight up fin with a cut out of it. Bleh.
