Loving the MINI and the fact that the refresh out the burble back in. That being said, what are my options if I'd like more of it more frequently? I'd assume exhaust mods but it's my daily driver so anything overly "rambunctious" is out.

    Thoughts? suggestions?

I removed the 2nd cat and resonator on my R56. Not only did it sound good, it made the pops and burbles more audible. And it was super cheap to do (about $50), but if you don't like it and can go right back on.

    Cheers

That's a thought. I assume you pop everything back on for inspections :biggrin5:.

The burble and pop is more of a 1st Gen thing, the 2nd gen's don't make that sound because they are so much better than the 1st Gens.

If ya want more burble, drive it more often!

Press sport button on 2nd gen cars. Or go with an aftermarket exhaust

Just checking back in on this thread. Post LCI on the r56 has tons of burble. I guess I should have been more clear as to which exhausts are more likely to increase it.

Yep, factory JCW exhaust with the resonator deleted....best sounding MINI that I've owned.

4th gear seems to be a good spot for "burbleness" & I'll check into the JCW exhaust. Anyone have any experience with the invidia exhaust?

Well, looks like I'll probably go with either a JCW exhaust with resonator delete (if I can get one reasonably) or an Invidia exhaust.
