Ive noticed some coolant fluid next to the cap, so i guess that should be where it must be leaking from. Car has just over 100.000km, you think i should replace the whole tank or just the cap?

Both and not with OEM. The Greene Performance tank is the way to go IMO.

Funny, dealing with this on my car tonight, one week before MOTD. Irritating.

I'm just going to install another OE tank and cap for the time being and get the Greene tank down the road - this was a planned upgrade for me anyway.

Genik, the Greene tank isn't going to work for your R56, though.

Sorry, didn't notice this thread was in the 2nd gen forum (I just read the new threads all clumped together). Yeah, you probably should just get a new OEM cap.

Sorry Dave-o...it is and had been a gen2 since the start...
I looked...and I was tempted to be the first or second poster.

    But saw it was a gen2 thread...so I held off...I know gen1...but gen2 stuff...not so much.
you might be right 90% of the time....but like me, you can be wrong once in a blue moon!! Heck, that's what my wife says....
