Are you talking about the mass air meter sensor (measures air flow into the engine) close to the filter box and the smaller sensor inline (is a PCV heater that prevents the moisture laden air from the crank case fumes from forming an ice block in cold climates) with the small diameter hose going to the turbo inlet junction?

I was hoping to just get rid of them but now I'm just trying to think of a way to integrate them into the Forge tube.

Ok, back from Vegas and can wrap my head around all this. The larger of the 2 goes from the PCV out to the intake tube just before the turbo inlet(thinking this is the heater you speak of). The smaller is on the outer/right side of the tube and is closer to the air box. I've went and got the stock intake tube and currently waiting to hear from ECS on returning the product and having them send me a tube that'll work for the Cooper S since this one does not. Now I've got this-Crankcase ventilation heater, control: line interruption 0037DC- after startup. I clear it each time but it keeps coming back. I'll take all apart after work today and re-install and hope it's that simple. Otherwise off to MINI for her 70k service and bug fix.
This is what I ordered and as you can see it says it'll fit the N18 Cooper S. This is the 2nd and last time I deal with ECS.

Also, very convenient that one can't submit a review on their site. ECS is a joke, and a bad one at that. Takes them DAYS to respond with a question if they do respond at all.
