The dome and footwell lighs in my '03 seem that they will never turn off. I waited for more than 20 minutes for them to automatically turn off before I turned them off myself to save the battery. The manual isn't very clear about the lights to me, is there something I need to do to put them in "auto off" mode? Can I adjust the length of time they stay on after I close the door, or can I just have them turn off as soon as the door closes? Thanks for any help.

Okay, I went back out to the car and followed the manual about shutting the lights off by holding button 1 in until the lights came on for a second and then went out. I then used button 1 to turn them back on. After about 15 to 20 minutes they finally went back out....awful long time, but at least they seem to work now. Thanks for your help!

Are you still having to wait 20 minutes after closing the door? The lights should turn off by itself within seconds — and when you lock the car it should turn off immediately. I think something is malfunctioning.
