I found a set of KONI FSD shocks listed on Craigslist. If they are as described, it's a great deal. They are described as being used on a 2010 model. I know some parts are shared between generations. Does anyone have any idea if they'll fit my 2003 justa?
Checked a couple of vendors and compared the pictures show of the FSD for 1st and 2nd Gen and they LOOK alike, doesn't mean they ARE alike. If they're on craigs list I'd be cautious as they could be badly used and maybe blown. Way Motor Works has them on sale at a bit less than half price now.
There you have it. Way will take good care of you and you will truly enjoy the ride. While you've got the rear member down would be a good time to change out the RSB for a stiffer one. Best bang for the buck in performance mods.
Cool. Thanks guys. Craigslist purchases must be approached with extreme caution for many reasons. The owner is asking $150, so I had to ask. If anyone's interested, I'll post a link. The RSB is next on the list after I fix my AC.
People often grab generic images, so here are the two sets. 2100 4010 fits Gen 1 cars; 2100 4099 fits Gen 2 cars.
Moreover, shock absorbers (struts) are a wear part, and are best bought new. If you are desperate, and they are not leaking, I suppose you could install used ones, but you're better off buying new.
