Hello, I have an '06 mini and after I turn the car off and take key out, power steering fan still runs. I've taken it to mini dealer and they want $1300 to replace power steering pump and fan. I have taken it to my personal mechanic and he says it may just be the power steering relay because I haven't been having any steering issues while driving. This is a much much much cheaper fix by about $1100-$1200. Does anyone have any experience with this problem? If so, what are your thoughts on whether my problem is the pump or just the relay.

Sure it's your PS fan, and not the low speed fan resitor? Look into that. We fix that for one hour of labor and a >$50 part.
