i found a "product request page" on the weathertech web site about 6 months ago and had posted it on "another forum" ... it apparently generated a lot of hits at weathertech and poof we now have vent visors or side window deflectors for R60s

Scott, you have to admit that the gutters on all the MINI's are worthless, along with the sun visors. Any help in that area would be a good thing.

Both are good, I would need to run up some chrome stacks to the top of the rear wing to make it work. :)

    Must be cold out!

first impressions: weathertech side window deflectors

    i really like them

i only bought the front set in the dark tint

can motor with the windows slightly open with much less noise,
can motor with the windows slightly open in the rain without water coming in,
can motor with the windows open all the way with less noise and much less buffeting,

with the windows slightly open and the heating/cooling fan on the lowest setting, the airflow is much higher, the deflectors create a vacuum at the window, so air is sucked out of the cockpit

they are almost unnoticable on the car, a couple of my friends did not notice them until i pointed them out

install was a snap, less than 10 minutes, including the unboxing

They look good. I had a set way back when on my Jeep Cherokee and thought they were great. Nice to see that the "mainstream" aftermarket is getting into the MINI biz.
