Went to see if MINI of Monmouth was open as they were in a hard hit area. We were glad to see the lights on as we approached. Figured we see if they were having a Hurricane Sandy sale.

    We were their only customer....

Ordered a 2013 Countryman to replace my 1997 Land Rover Discovery, affectionately known as "the Beast". 175,000 miles and 12mpg it's time for her to rest.

We should have it just around Christmas!

I had my conv in for service for a few days and received a Countryman S All4 and loved it. Really great ride. Best of luck with it.

Light White, sport seats, xenons, sunroof, auto for the Mrs :) black alloy wheels, Bluetooth is standard on the 13's, Carbon black with Pure Red color line. Fogs, rear spoiler. Pretty much basic C-Man for what it will be used for, basically my DD winter vehicle to replace my Rover. Should go into production Monday.

I still do not understand why some folks choose black (dirty) wheels but otherwise we know you will idolize your Countryman as we do ours. By the way, did you get a discount for being the only customer?

Different stokes as they say. Life would be pretty dull if we all liked the same things. That being said I like color & some shiny bits in my life.

Why? Simple, when/if they get dirty you can't tell as bad as a silver wheel full of crap :) which do you think will look better if dirty?

Congrats!! I love my black wheels. They don't show the brake dust as much and for me I wash it once a week so no big deal. Hopefully getting rid of my stocks for some Vossen 19's soon.

Idk, it didn't start production yet. From what I'm reading only minor interior changes so does that make it?

    Just Ordered Mine as Well

Aloha from Hawai‘i! I just ordered my FIRST MINI!! I have been sniffing around for years and finally took the plunge. I reserved a White Countryman with Black Bonnet stripes,Pan Sunroof, Black Wheels, and Nav system. Didn't need the Nav system (how far can you go on an island?) but since the car is already on a boat from California I decided to grab it. Should be here by Thanksgiving. BTW, my other car is a 1970 VW Beetle Convertible we restored before moving here. Now we have two fun and gloriously impractical cars.

Fortunately my 21 year-old son moves to the mainland in June 2013 so only a few months of "Can I borrow your keys?
