Has anyone put a catch can on an R60? The only place I see to mount it is the right side strut tower. I will have to fabricate a mount. Unless some one has found a better place.

    I sold it! :yikes:

No I'm installing it for a friend that has a countryman. I hate to run the hoses from one side of the car to the other but I can't find a good place for it.

Did you figure out a location? My daughter just bought an 09 and I am sure I will end up installing one for her. I need to figure out where this oil leak is coming from first.

Installed the M7 OCC this past weekend. It is installed to the right of the passenger strut tower.

I should have taken a picture of it. Not up to Metalman's level of work but I was kind of proud.

Last night, when I stomped down on the "go-fast pedal" my nephew said, "Ew, what's that smell?!" I've been wondering that myself lately. Could there be oil in the intercooler that's "cooking" and makes the odor when called into service? I'm driving an 2005 Cooper S 6 speed with 100K.

More than likely your belt is slipping. I had the same problem. When was the last time you changed your belt and tensioner?

Or you OEM rubber crank pulley is about to die if it is still the same one from the factory.

You don't want that to happen when driving. :frown2:
