2nd Gen R60 Countryman Alta Thermal Blanket Issue

    It appears the wastegate is causing this hole in the thermal blanket. I also think it is interfering with the operation of the waste gate. Anyone seen this?

    I have a super short radio antenna from ALTA.

    It's for looks only because......IT DONT WORK either. :lol:

    I have one of those blankets in my R56, no issues at all.

    I have Way Motor Works Turbo Wrap. It fits under the stock heat shield and doesn't interfere with the recirc valve linkage. Between that and my removing the phony grill in the hood scoop, the engine compartment and the hood stay nice and cool.
