After a long story I finall got my new R58 fJCW last week. Already have 350 miles on it. Enjoying the few difference over the 2013 I had.

Kinda sad that theses are discontinued now with no signs for future models but I guess feeling special as they get tons of looks and questions.

Have one of the last made. Prod 3/15 and the last month of production was 4/15

    :D

Welcome to M/A but what is a fJCW ? Are they not just JCW's, what with the f ?

Thanks too all for the warm welcome.

f is for FACTORY /OEM as opposed to dealer installed retrofit. I know it was earlier models but I just stuck with it.

factory JCW which means it has the JCW internals and transmission not just the bumpers and badges.
I know what you thought the "f" meant

Bingo ! Nothing agains the retrofit but it ain't full blown JCW

I guess it will matter in 20 years at a MECUM AUCTION. lol.

Ahh thanks for the reply. I really had no idea what the "f" stood for in fJCW.

    I learned something today.

My 05 MINI was a fJCW but I have updated way past the JCW and GP now so it's more of a RMW/JCW.:Thumbsup:

    Welcome again to M\A.

I enjoy the color. Not too many like it. Plans are

HELIX IC ( on order in group buy)
NM strut bar ( on its way found used )
    NM 22 mm rear sway
GP2 belly pan and rear diffuser
ECS CF intake ( it's just so pretty looking )
    BMS piggy back tune
Mixed emotions about wheels. When I decide I'll get non RFT's
    Have snows already
Have all interior led lighting and puddle lamps Clutch stop, Shorty antenna
    Home link mirror retrofit
    It's already tinted
Pop the pins on the strut mount and get the little bit of neg camber and realign
Won't lower it ..... NY + lower = mess it's a daily driver. I'm to old for the harsh ride

That's about it off the top of my head.

Haa. We're never too old to learn something new.

On the way home today I learned where the soft rev limiter starts!
