That's NICE! But even a base CMS-4 is WAY over priced compared to what you can get elsewhere. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It would take the uniqueness out the GP, and be another feather in the cap of BMW's efforts to dilute the brand. I suspect we'll see it early 2017...
Well.... They watered down the uniqueness for the JCW by offering every possible combination they can come up with... Why not do the same with the GP? The only one not affected is the Justa Cooper.... Coulda / Maybe.... JCW Justa Cooper or maybe a GP MINI One?
It seems like the logical next step...justa think! What is that MINI? Oh it is Justa JCW or Justa GP... :biggrin5::biggrin5:
I can just hear that guy that likes to drive his CM around and around Fontana now driving this instead.
I like the lines, stance looks great and the nose is really grabbing my attention. As a GP though it wouldn't make sense, not to mention it would be horribly over priced and under powered.
If MINI even thinks about that GP 4 door they should take it straight to Planned Parenthood and have it aborted. Sooooo effing ugly and unwanted.
I like this one it looks like a coupe GP. I wish they had made one. But I guess the saw Dark helmet and decided they couldn't compete.:biggrin5:
They're just photoshop drawings... MINI doesn't even have any part in them because both models pictured are built off of discontinued real model cars. In my opinion the Countryman wearing the GP trim doesn't look bad... And the performance could actually be there if it was modded right at the factory to be at the level of GP standards, but nobody would buy it! The Porker was $31K, it was the bare minimum the dealership will order minus custom orders... JCW R60's can go upward of $43K... There's not an enthusiast out there who would pay over $50K for a GP trimmed R60 unless BMW stuffed the new 2.0L in it and gave it some big boy ballz to go along with a significantly modified suspension. ^^^^^ Agreed 1st Gen GP went for $31k and the 2nd Gen went for $39, $50k is probably a pretty good bet, little pricey for a watered down BMW. It would be a great project build though.
