History

Purchased new from Mini of the Hamptons in April 2004. Built on June 24, 2004, and picked up from a nondescript impound lot in El Cajon, California, on July 22, 2004. Only options were bonnet stripes (which were replaced by a center checker stripe, which was replaced by no stripes at all), DSC, OBC, and Harmon-Kardon audio.

Space gray cloth seats with just-a-Cooper stock silver dash. Added a glove box organizer (my 1st mod!), a Momo shift knob that has been replaced with a Whalen matte finish knob, Ian Cull auto-up circuit, Cockpit Specialties charcoal gauge faces, Mini barf bag in the passenger-side map pocket.

In-Car Entertainment

Aux input installed in the panel below the toggles.

Under the Bonnet

Way Motor Works 15% pulley (installed at 87,000 miles!), Alta foam filter.

Hotchkis front sway bar, competition rear sway bar and adjustable rear lower control arms, JCW struts/shocks, TSW springs, BSH lower engine mount (all installed at 93,000 miles).

Stock R84 V-spokes since one of my bronze-powdercoated Panasports was broken on 12/21/08. Bridgestone RE760 Sport tires.
