Model Cooper S
Color Hyper Blue / White
Packages CWP

2006 MINI Cooper S 2006 MINI Cooper S 2006 MINI Cooper S
History I ordered my MINI with only one package. I thought the cold weather package was a must. All other options we ordered ala cart. My intention was to track this car so I only bought what I felt enhanced its performance.

After waiting 6 weeks my MINI came in with the wrong dash finish. I refused delivery & waited another 6 long weeks. My MINI was delivered to me on December 13 2005.

Here's what I got...
Xenon lights.
Fogs front & rear.
LSD.
CWP, cold weather package.
MFW, multi function wheel.
Yep that is it... :-)
Exterior
2006 MINI Cooper S Exterior 2006 MINI Cooper S Exterior 2006 MINI Cooper S Exterior

A million or so stone chips earned over 6 years of motoring.
Chrome grille
Hyper blu mirror caps to replace the chrome ones.
A stubby antenna.
Euro spec tail lights. (amber top)
Front mudflaps
Badge holder front & rear with a variety of silly badges.

Interior
Two toned grey pleatherette seats, heated
Anthracite dash finish
Multi function wheel
A genuine euro parcel shelf
Silver gauge rings
Glove box organizer
MINI safety triangle
MINI first aide kit

In-Car Entertainment
Stock radio & speakers non-HK
XM direct radio / Blitzsafe

Big cupholder with a large coffee

Cobalt aluminium skid plate

Wheels and Tires
X Lites & Dunflop runflats: sold off (HATED those darn things!)
Summer-ASA JH6 16"/7"
Kumho AGX 205/50/16: killed on track (Not a great tire)
Pirelli P Zero Nero 205/50/16: worn out & gone (These tires were good in the dry & sucked in the rain)
Goodyear Eagle GSD F1 205/50/16: worn out & gone (These were wonderful, but sadly are NLA)
Goodyear Eagle GT all seasons 205/50/16. (An OK all season/rim protector) Worn out & gone.
Currently Yokohama S Drives high performance summer tire in 205/50/16. Nice tires with good stick.

Winter-Holies 15"/5.5"
Hakka 2 snows 185/65/15: worn out & gone (The best I've used)
Currently using 185/65/15 Pirelli snow control winter 190 ( An OK tire that was cheap)

Impressive!
Very nice car.
More pics please!

I have theory about blue MINIs. They let Chili Red think they are the fastest, but the blue MINIs are really the family speed machines.
This is from personal observation over 3 MOTD events.
Red MINIs sneak up on me from time to time up there, but it's the blue ones that I am always pulling over to let by.
