I am going to do a shake down run to the south east part of the state April 11th. Who want to go along? I thought about starting at Gypsy Joe's in Lancaster, 2237 W Fair Ave, Lancaster, OH 43130, since he's a fellow MINI owner. Then do some 555, 377, and 78. Meet at Gypsy Joe's by 9am. I've got a 4 hour run planed.
That's a definite maybe. I'll have just driven back from east New York, so I might be worn out by then.
I may be up for a drive. Count me in as a definite maybe. :arf: Thanks Nick. Seth my transmission has 2 clutches maybe I can lend you one.
I'm ready for a drive, but will be out of town that Saturday. For those of us that won't be able to make it, let us know what condition the roads are in (potholes, salt/gravel build up).
555 is on the ODPT schedule for repaving. I can't remember which section or the time. I really hope 536 gets some love it was beat down last year.
Last time I was down 536 it was rough. Lots of places where it is trying to reach the valley below. I'm all for the State repaving our fun roads. Edit.... Looking at the roads you listed you won't be near SR536.
If I don't end up working Saturday I plan on being there to meet everyone. The owners were actually looking for Mini Cooper shaped cutters to make donuts especially for you guys! (as of right now there are no known Mini Cooper shaped cookie/donut cutters in existence!) I doubt I'll be able to go on the run this time, but I look forward to doing one in the future.
Well I'm having more done than just the clutch. You know.... I can't have just one project to do, that's boring. Lol.
