Ok gang, On more than one occasion, somehow I (the chick) was the one with the right tool (yes, this sounds bad  ) that someone needed. I have a small toolbag that I keep in the boot all the time, and I'd like to know what are the essential tools one should have for a MINI? Thx all.
Not sure what I "should have" but what I "do have" tool wise in my boot is, socket/wrench for lugs, screw drivers flat and phillips, pliers, flat tire air kit, box cutter, towel, and usually a spray bottle of water..

Well, I already have the flat tire kit, and I keep the jack and everything it came with in it still. Um, credit card yes. Ice chest no. Phone yes. Fire arms? This is too personal to answer  I guess I was meaning are their answer tools specific to the MINI? When I had my Jeep Chrysler went nuts with torque screws. BTW- this is entertaining opcorn:
:cornut: If the situation can't be solved with the above; it becomes a squad(12 men/women) problem and one pulls out Dave O's cell phone or the hand held Ham Radio to call in the troops. One might also consider a brief tactical retrograde to confer with God. Jason
I carry a flat plastic 150 piece tool kit, it has metric, SAE, torx, allen, 1/2"& 3/8" drive wrenches. It cost less than $50 at Harbor Freight. I also have a Slime kit a 12v air compressor, a quart of oil and a fire extinguisher. Credit card, AAA+ card, cell phone and, Oh yeah, an ice chest! Dave
Spare tires are overrated. I don't remember the last time I had a flat tire, it was probably more than twenty years ago. Dave
:cornut:I had TWO flats on the run flats and TWO MORE on non run flats over the past four years(5yrs Feb 13). That's 4 flats total in almost 5yrs:mad2::mad5:. No sir my spare is definitely UNDER RATED. Jason
I used to say that. I carried a donut spare with me anyway. One night in the middle of nowhere I was glad to have that donut with me. Stuff happens.
