Hi there - I just joined the site and first say a hello to everyone who just loves their MINIS like me In a web search for the Carbon Black Lounge Leather seats with Polar Beige piping, I saw Tata Steva's ad selling these seats (2007 seats). I am looking for these identical ones. Should have got them when I ordered my Mini last year, but, hindsight's always 20/20.:nonod: Does anyone know where (other than directly from the dealership who is out of sight on $$$'s), I could find them. Anyone on this site with them, thinking maybe to upgrade to Recaro's or something? I contacted Mini Mania, and they could help, but cost would be like the dealership. I hate to do after-market as I think it might be tricky with the wiring set up/air bags/heated seats etc, and not sure I'd be 100% happy with them. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.....

Welcome Aboard! Junk yards are the cheapest. Get the seats with what ever color and get new covers the color you want. If it's just the color your after get your current seats recovered.
Welcome aboard. Agree, recovering yours would probably be the cheapest way to go, and you could get exactly what you want.
Leather Lounge Seats Thanks each of you for the nice welcome and the suggestions. :biggrin5: I did email Steven to see what suggestions he may have. Also contacted The Used Parts Factory - apparently they have contacts throughout the U.S. for whatever part/s your looking for. Already had one reply from Saratoga Classics and he says he's going to research his contacts to see if he can get the seats for me. (not holding my breath here, as I think it's like looking for a needle in a haystack). Recovering MINI seats (so I've been told) is a dodgy business because of air bags / seat belts/ wiring etc. However, I figure a reputable shop ought to know their business where that's concerned. I'll keep you posted on the "developments".
