Just saw the announcement that Outmotoring has RMW stuff for sale now--that's a win-win! Didn't see it coming, but that's a great pair--a top of the list vendor in Aaron/Outmotoring paired with a top of the list tuner/aftermarket parts supplier and developer, great news!! Good luck to both, but I don't think you'll need it, this falls into the "no-brainer" category.

If we could just talk Aaron into working out something with 949 so we could get a steady supply....:biggrin5:

Adding 939 would be nice.

I speak for all the dumb newbies who ask:

How does one get a tune via the internet?

    and

    949???

949 is a wheel company that makes really nice 15" wheels that us R53/50 owners can run with stock brakes. They can get some really wide 15's for track use too!

949 racing, they make lightweight 15 inch rims that clear damned near any brake kit. The team dynamics Aaron sells are good, but you can't get them in the widths many of us want. Sorry, should have been more clear on that.

You can get a tune several different ways--at a tune day, a canned tune, or remote tune, where your car is on the dyno and Jan tunes it from a million mike away "over the internet", although via email is more accurate.

Not dumb questions at all; many of us have messed around with this stuff for so long we forget what it was like when we first started out, and take shortcuts and leave important specifics out. This isn't NAM--no one is going to get on you for asking a question; there's probably ten other people wondering what the hell I was referring to as well, which is about my average.

NOOO then it would get a virus. BMW would charge a fortune for a MINI anti virus.
