Hi, I used to frequent this forum back in 2013 when I owned a R53 Cooper S but have moved on as of almost a year and a half ago. That being said! I regretted removing the Mini from my life, and the supercharger is just flat out addictive. I learned a lot from my Cooper but never learned what to watch out for when buying a used Cooper S specifically the 2002-2006's. What are easy-to-spot faults? Stay away from high-miles? I noticed a lot of older Coopers have a hanging front bumper (one that isn't usually aligned properly or wasn't put on properly), is it usually due to front end damage or just bad placement? The next cooper I get is getting overhauled for 200+ hp, so I'd rather be safe than sorry!:fingerscrossed: Thanks for any replies!
