I'm flabbergasted, really speechless. http://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/f56-hatch-talk-2014/310336-this-looks-interesting.html#post4268482
I've always hated Dinan. Whenever I see the Dinan emblem on the back of a BMW I'm thinking, that poor sap has more money than sense. I think you have to spend like $10k to get that emblem lol. I'm really not quite sure how they've managed to build up such a name selling overpriced mediocre parts.
A friend of mine owns one of the best, and most respected BMW shops in DFW, AutoScope. He is a Dinan dealer. I'll have to ask him about the MINI upgrades. http://www.autoscope.co CD
I'm surprised nobody is commenting on the main point that caught my attention. Note: The exhaust system is only offered with black tips as one of the tips is non-functional and would lead to non-matching discoloration over time if polished tips were used. I can't unsee it now. If I ever see a Dinan exhaust, the first thing that will come to mind is that one of the tubes is completely fake and nonfunctional.
If there is a good reason for it, I'm okay with it. A four cylinder engine only needs one pipe to efficiently run exhaust to the back of the car. The most efficient path may be a single path. And, my MINI CooperS has a gap in the bumper for twin tips. It would look weird with just one tip. CD
