Looking for a good home for a special car! Selling my 2006 Cooper S JCW GP (0769) that Ive have owned since new here in Pittsburgh. Cant take on a third car so looking to sell her so I can get a more family friendly car and also itching for a new driving experience. Car currently has a few miles over 68,000 miles on the odometer. Two sets of rims (original and an extra for snow or track) Only two mods to the car: Group4Autosport Exhaust system and Diffuser, other than that the car is original. Never had a tune on the engine. Regularly serviced and maintained. I have tracked the car a handful of times over the years, but not raced or autocrossed. I am asking $17,000, but is negotiable. If interested in a future collectable please contact me at [email protected].
Oh forgot, I will be taking it to the Ozarks if I still have it at that time, if anyone out there is going. Great event and location!
You need to get Mark [putterfarm] back into a MINI. I'll be urging him next week to make the switch back, too, as my love for AUDI only goes so far.
wmwny, i think Mark is enjoying the TT too much. Though he misses the MINIs!!! I am dropping the price on the GP to $16,000.
here are some interior pictures. Also, the one exterior blemish, an area on the front bumper driverside where the paint cracked a little when I bump another car at about 1mph. I used some GP touch up paint to prevent the paint from continuing to crack or flake off.
Wow! All Minis are pretty awesome in their own rite, but GPs are something to behold. Clean car! Good luck with the sale.
UPDATE.... My GP is currently getting its last week with me. I have had a few interested in her, but I am trying to find the right situation for moving on. I am set to trader her in a new vehicle at a dealership in Ohio. I will work with someone if someone is looking to purchase. The trade in value so far is not bad and may be sweetened a little when done, but a buyer would be perferable. If I do trade her in, I do have a very wanting buyer near the dealership that will probably be there that day. Funny thing though, way down deep kind of hope that maybe the deal doesnt work out and I 'have' to keep the GP. But cant have it all.:frown2:
Careful Welshie, you are going to get your 1st Gen owner's card taken away with comments like that. You might have as well said that he should replace the GP1 with a GP2.....:eek6:
I'd love it if the top went down. Who will loan me a sawzall? Maybe I should just buy a roadster. Oh wait never mind I already own one.
Mark's always yakking about a GP 1 and this would be the perfect opportunity to get on with relatively low miles and few mods. Who REALLY knows...HE might be that "interested Ohio party".
That would be a great idea for Mark, he could trade in the Dark Helmut and walk out with a GP and cash in his pocket. :ihih:
