I just found out about this cool roller coaster. Has anyone ridden it?

There was a similar one in Ohio (all the cars in a set were the same color). It is my son's favorite ride at King's Island (it is now known as Backlot Stunt Coaster since the park is no longer owned by Paramount).

I rode the King's Island one back in the day. It doesn't stick out in my memory beyond the fact that I rode it.

I think it was the only one I could get on that day due to insane over-crowding.

It seems really lazy of them to not at least paint the headlights and grill on.

They can't. At one time it was licensed to be called The Italian Job and the cars were painted Red, White and Blue with stripes and other details. Now they are called Back Lot Stunt Coaster.

I guess that's the same one at King's Island. You would think MINI might even contribute some $$ for paint, or decals for the headlights, grill, and other details. It would bring a lot more attention to MINI. As a MINIAC, it seems like it hurts the brand to have the unfinished cars. :(

Probably has to do with $$ and laziness. This wouldn't happen at Disneyland.

I don't think Mini cares anymore. Their to up scale for rides now. They redid the logo I heard they are changing the name to LBMW.

It's just discrimination because they are based on the R53 instead of the R56, I'm tellin' ya.

    IT"S CRAZY....

So you can have an amusement ride with simulated cars that look like MINI's.....

BUT YOU CAN"T PAINT THEM RED WHITE AND BLUE????

    That's un American....

Most people don't know an F56 from an R53, but I'm sure they see a cheesy looking MINI Cooper when they're staring at them for so long in line.

On the day of my picture, Lil' B.A.D. and his buddy rode all three colors and they said the blue was much faster

Even still, it's kind of a cool concept. I'd ride that! Lol
