When I activated my phone, via iTunes, it seems to have downloaded about 183 contacts that were hidden away on my PC. I can't figure out how to delete the bulk of them. Do I have to delete them on the PC then re-sync?

    Thanks,

    Jim

Jim... You need to stay off those XXX sites....:D

Seriously.... You can go into "Contacts" on your I-phone and delete at will. Then connect to your PC after you are finished with the changes.

Then when you sync with your PC, pick the button that takes the iPhone contacts and replaces those on the PC

If you register your Apple ID (the email address that you use to buy apps) with the new iCloud service, you can synchronize your contacts instantly and wirelessly. ie: when you make a change on your phone, it's made to your PC, and vice versa. This is an opt-in service that is free. No charge at all.
