I've not really hidden the fact that I've not in the best of health as of late and had a few visits with a surgeon this month. Things are looking much better after yesterdays (7/26) trip under the knife. I really appreciate all the kinds words from many of you along with the well wishes and support. Without getting into the gory details this is whats going on and a little timeline. At MOTD there was an incident of blood flowing in fluids that they should not be flowing in normally. After talking to a few of you there that have health care backgrounds and personal experience in this matter I did go see a doc as soon as I got back. Tests were run, referrals were proffered. They looked, they saw a growth were a growth should not be. 1st attempt to remove was stymied by the position of said growth and the fact the instrument used could not access that area properly. They also had a much better view of the growth at that time too. I was then referred to a specialists specialist. I likened it as being bumped to level 3 support. 2nd attempt seems to have gone well. I'm now in the mentally taxing wait period to find out if more procedures will be needed. Here's to hoping chemo is not in the cards! Again, I'd like to thank you for all the support and your understanding if things around here on M/A are not being handled in my normally speedy manner.
I'm happy to hear that they got it this time. Prayers for good news about the results. We will do our best to keep things civil on here until you get recovered and positioned to referee our posts Let us know if any of us MoM's need to play mom for you!
