Have you ever made a crazy internet purchase while browsing a completely unrelated thread or posting; prompted by a pop-up, link or another member's suggestion? I know I have and I'm certain you probably have too. So don't be shy and post 'em up here!

For starters, I was looking to buy myself a vintage BMW motorcycle (R75, R90, etc.) a few years back. I somehow wound up buying a Z3M Roadster instead... After all, it had two seats and I guess it's all I'd been looking for in the first place. I later found out my wife would'a never climbed on the back anyhow.

I was looking for a t-shirt and ended up with a Russian bride.

The next day and I found a nice wealthy woman from Nigeria that needed my help when her husband died and left the family fortune to her. All I had to do was pay a few "legal fees" and I receive a ton of money from her.

I passed on that deal and paid my car insurance instead.

I have bought stupid stuff like t-shirts when I was looking for car or bike parts. Once I was channel surfing I bought a cheep radar detector off QVC. Oh the shame yes I stopped on QVC and even worse I bought something. :(

Well and so here I did it again... I was cruisin' the eBay, for God knows what, I think I was look'n for a putter grip for my Ping Anser.. Anyway, I wound up buying a Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless Newport Beach, a classic Ping JB5 and a new exhaust pipe for my Bonanza mini bike. Geez my wife's gonna be pissed! :frown2:

Oh and I bought the Ping Man blackout grip too.....

And I forgot to add, I also had to have the Scotty pivot divot tool too. Yes, I bought that as well. :rolleyes5:

I'm done... for now... Really, I am!
