KYB.... You been very bad....

Oh boy can't wait for my .02 cents class action payout on those KYB sharks a ran on the rally car. Heck ran them on a lot of the old Japanese cars I had. They were pretty cheap. Do you figure they didn't charge enough & will come back at me for moar moneys?

 

I always think it's humorous, that when businesses do this, the gubmint says they are "artificially inflating prices'... but when the gubmint establishes price controls, quotas, allotments, subsidies, minimum wages, etc. it's all good.

And for the federal government to accuse anyone of creating "a corrupt marketplace".... oy, that's rich.

 

The difference is the perception of a monopoly......

 

Sorry, Crashton, it is a fine, not a settlement. The gov't gets it all.

 

Out of curiosity, I once filled out a form, complete with receipts for inclusion in a successful class action against a beverage company. I was due some nonsensical number like $11.28. Guess what? Nothing ever happened. The only person happy was probably the Tort Lawers.

 

Just as well, I most likely couldn't afford the tax bill on my .02 windfall.

 

Yes, in my old age I have learned to not expect much in the way of windfall payments.

Next up will be VW for the diesel fun and games.
