RIP George. He built some cool stuff. George Barris & Ed Roth can build some custom chariots up in heaven.

George Barris and "Big Daddy" Ed Roth were my heroes when I was growing up. Although I tended to lean a little more towards Big Daddy. Barris was a little too refined for me. I used to draw Monster sweatshirts and t-shirts in study hall for cigarette money. They both played a part in making me into a "car guy" from a young age. RIP Mr. Barris. You and Ed have a cold one on me. :beer

He designed the dream cars of my childhood. The Batmobile, the Munsters cars, Black Beauty, The Monkey Mobile. I had a bunch of them in either models or diecast.

We all will miss the King of Kustoms.

Wow, another icon gone. I grew up on customs, his early work with his brother Sam are my favorites.
