Being a MINI owner, I tend to travel the back roads often. Every now and then, I run across old cars left to rot. I usually have my camera with me and enjoy photographing them, as well as other old abandoned stuff. Here are a few of my favorites. Does anyone else enjoy doing this? If so, please share.

The two MG's look familiar... Was thinking someone was going to try and rescue them... The carport looks worse than the last time... Better hurry up...

    Nice pic's...

That was me. One of them was rescued, I noticed it behind a house in town, it looks like it's in good hands. The other I think is still there. They got it out just in time, too as that side of the carport has collapsed. As baldly as I would like to have one, now just isn't the time. I don't really have a good place to store it and don't have the financial resources to restore it. I need to get to work on the F100 before I bring any more projects home. Some day I will have a MGB GT of my own.

Great pictures! There's really nowhere easy to get to with stuff like that here, plus stuff just doesn't rust the same way in Colorado.

Our annual humidity morning average is around 80%. There's enough rusty stuff here for everyone.

    Nice pics.

I seen some cars like that in the "halers" when we do drives but I always think if I stop to check them out I might get shot at.

Nice Pictures. Seeing cars like this was always the highlight of a cross country drive. Between California and Arkansas are some of the nicest resting spots for old iron. if I remember right New Mexico was my favorite. Every time I made that trip I wished I had a hauler and a couple of grand in my pocket.
