Mustang GT500KR owner has to provide VIN and photos of damaged parts to get pricing. Before shipping new parts out damaged parts have to be returned. Oh and then there is the pricing issue... Hood = $21,000.00 Carbon fiber mirror cover = $400.00 Read all about this at [ame=http://www.spokentorque.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1517]GT500KR: Can you afford to fix this car? - Spoken Torque Forums[/ame]
Ugh. The KR is a beast numbers wise but seeing those numbers to fix things is downright shameful. I'm off to hug a honda.
Those prices are a little out there, I'd just throw GT body panels on the car at those prices (although if I could afford a GT500KR I guess I wouldn't be worried about prices). I kinda understand though, there's more classic Shelby's now than in the 60s so this is kinda a way of protecting the people that bought these things as investments, thank god this hasn't happened to Shelby GLH parts.
