If you had $1M to spend at a classic car auction.....

I saw this elsewhere, figured we might have a little fun with it on M/A.

Think of a Barrett-Jackson-ish auction and assume they'll have every possible classic available on the block, production cars, retired racing cars, whatever.

You have more money than you know what to do with including a million $ in walking around money burning a hole in your pocket. There's plenty of empty space to fill in your new multi-car garage and that guy you're paying to take care of your cars full time doesn't have enough to do.

What car, or cars, would be at the top of your bidding list?

I didn't post my own choice because I couldn't make up my mind. I imagine I'd change my mind pretty much any time I think about it but at the moment I'm torn between a '57 Ford T-bird, a '61 Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato and '62 Ferrari 250 GTO.

Not sure you could get a 250 GTO for $1M. I'd have to say if I had the money I'd have a GTO. My ultimate dream car.

Oh yeah, you're right, they're going for multimillions these days. I guess I need to dig a little deeper for that one.
