This is short notice I know but has anyone know anything about Nexen tires?
I have to get new rear tires for my sons Mustang. It has 274-35 18's on the rear. These are a good price and the tire store I do business with think they are ok.
If anyone has some input I would appreciated it.
    Thanks.

I have the N-5000 in a 205/45/17" and they seem to be a good tire. They were on the MCS I bought [used] for my wife in the Spring and we have put almost 8k on them since March. I even ordered one for her spare and found a used R90 for it. They are good in rain and on dry, but we have yet to see how they will be this Winter.

I had read that these were OK tires. The pricing is VERY reasonable, too. Since buying her S, I have seen a lot of advertisements for the Nexen in the Dr. office car magazines.

Like I said, so far the Nexens have been a great tire. The pricing was right for the spare I bought...about $85. I thought that was a fair price considering the size of the tire. The N-5000 has a 50-60k warranty and they are v-rated. They ride well, too.

So true. Last weekend I did the clutch in older sons 323Ci. I thought finally his car is straightened out. No he came in told me its running rough. So its 10PM and I'm about to try and find the problem.
    Some one make it stop

I had those on my old RSX, and for cheaper tires I thought they performed fantastic. Very low road noise and quite grippy.
